The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that humility, forgiveness and noble conduct are the true ornaments of one’s personality. He noted that it is with these virtues that the people of the country are continuously working towards realizing the resolve of a Viksit Bharat.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“तेजः क्षमा धृतिः शौचमद्रोहो नातिमानिता।

भवन्ति सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातस्य भारत।। ”

The Subhashitam conveys that radiance, forgiveness, unwavering courage, purity of conduct, sincere dedication to the nation, and a humble personality free from arrogance – all these qualities are regarded as the characteristics of a person endowed with divine virtues.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“विनम्रता, क्षमाशीलता और उत्तम आचरण ही व्यक्तित्व के सच्चे आभूषण हैं। इन गुणों के साथ ही आज देशवासी विकसित भारत के संकल्प की सिद्धि में निरंतर जुटे हैं।
